Science of Persistence is a small independent project. This page explains exactly what this site collects, which is very little, and what happens to it.

What this site collects

Nothing you type. There is no signup form, no contact form, and no account. Nothing on this site asks you for information.

Anonymous usage data is collected so I can see how many people visit. Details are in the analytics section below.

Standard hosting infrastructure records basic technical data for every visit, such as IP address, browser type, and which page was requested. This is handled by Vercel, who host the site, and is used for security and performance. It is not used for marketing or profiling.

Analytics

This site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages people reach. It records page views, referrer, country, browser, and device type. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your device, does not follow you across other websites, and does not build a profile of you. Individual visitors are not identified.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies. There are no advertising pixels and no cross-site trackers. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives a request from your browser when the page loads.

Links away from this site

The links here lead to Persistly and to social platforms including X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else's service, governed by their privacy policy rather than this one. If you join the Persistly waitlist, that email is collected on Persistly's site and covered by Persistly's privacy policy.

Your choices

Since this site collects nothing you provide, there is nothing here to correct or delete. If you have joined the Persistly waitlist and want that email removed, every email includes an unsubscribe link, or you can ask directly using the address below.

Children

This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this page changes in any meaningful way, the date at the top will change with it.
